The idea of meditation is to allow yourself to come in tune with your natural state of being. It means to become familiar with our most natural breathing. It means to become equanimous. Once you learn this state of being, you can become aware of when you are not in this state. That is when you are in any state of emotions, such as excitement, rage, anger, fear, joy, bliss. When you find yourself in any state other than your natural state, you will recognize it, and thus know that it is a temporary. This is the way you obey the law of impermanance.

In any situation, if we learn to tell ourselves that it is temporary, the way you handle the situation will drastically change. When you are celebrating something, and know that it is impermanent, you will enjoy to your fullest and not get attached to it. At the same time, when tough times knock at your doorstep, and you can remind yourself that it is not permanent, you will deal with it wisely.

This concept is known as anicca in Buddhism, according to which, impermanence is an undeniable and inescapable fact of human existence from which nothing that belongs to this earth is ever free.

Impermanence is not something we can we can conquer, it is something we appreciate.

Buddhism and Hinduisimboth believes in the impermanent nature of life. Impermanence and change are the undeniable truths of our existence. What is real is the present moment, which is the product of the past. It is its own unique moment. Because of our ignorance and how we are conditioned, our ordinary mind conceives them all to be part of one continuous reality. But in truth they are not.

The concept of impermanence and continuous becoming is central to early Buddhist teachings. It is by only becoming aware of it, by observing it and by understanding it, we can find a remedy for the sorrows of life. It is a way to attain liberation!

You see, life is a journey, and you do not want to cling on to feelings or emotions and at the same time not have aversion for any kinds of feelings or emotions. It only entangles you and throws your off. Become truly aware of who you are and what is your most natural state of being. Embrace the law of impermanence and enjoy the ride.
